What is Keybinding?

Keybinding means that you can use a shortcut for a complex line of commandos. You pre-define the commandos and bind them to a key of your whish. For example you can buy full armor, a DE and ammo for it by pressing only one key on your keyboard! This fastens up your starting-time enormous.

How is it done?

Keybinding is done in the touser.ini. Open it with the editor you like and watch out for the block [Engine.Input]. In this block you'll find 40 alias lines. Now go to the first unused alias line and create your command-lineup.

The alias line hast to look line this:

Aliases[xx]=(Command="",Alias=None)

xx is the alias number (always use the first free alias number), command is the part where you place in your commandos, alias defines the name of this commando-lineup.

Heres a full example:

Aliases[27]=(Command="s_kAmmoAuto 102 | s_kAmmoAuto 999 | s_kAmmoAuto 304",Alias=BuyDesertAmmoArmor)

Between every commando you have to place a pipesymbol | and NEVER any spaces!

After you've defined your alias, you just have to place it to a free key you want, just a bit down after the aliases-block. If the key of your whish isnt defined, just take a new line and define it.

For example:

A=BuyDesertAmmoArmor

Thats all. After this, you can use your keybind in the game by pressing A.

Keybinding in principle also works without using aliases, just by placing the commands directly to the key you want. But you soon would loose overview. Thats why you should use the alias function.
